Life is beautiful
After my accident I had oculomotor dysfunction. My eyeglass prescriptions were wrong every two months. That gets expensive. I finally thought that this could be worsening the fatigue and disequilibrium, and then I thought I might get relief from seeing a vision therapist. She told me that What I was experiencing was not uncommon and that over time my eyes would return to where they had been and eventually stabilize.
This was the first optometry exam in two years when I haven't felt absolutely terrible because I've been wearing the wrong prescription for weeks. One eye has changed a little, but it seems clear that my eyesight is in fact stabilizing. We'll get a new lens for the left eye and I'll see her in another two months. My ability to transition from being able to focus at one distance to another distance seems to be improving too.
There is an irony that I fell in love with photography at the same time that my eyes were wonky.
I have absolutely no idea what kind of flower this is, other than wet!
