Wet

It's been a rather showery day here.  I've spent most of the day sitting in the garden room, sewing.  Early on, I watched starlings raid the bird food again, despite the fact that W has rigged up a cage around it to supposedly keep them out.

A little while later there was a juvenile thrush on the lawn - I think he was "anting".  But of course, I didn't have a camera there.  As soon as I fetched the camera (and the binoculars) all birdlife disappeared!

So you have to make do with one of our latest purchases - a lovely patio plant I have admired in other gardens, and always fancied, that was asking to be purchased a couple of weeks ago when we were at the garden centre.
