Birthday Visit

Poet Girl turns 19 on Monday. It will be the first that she’s not with us and so we took her grandparents over to Brum for a pre- Birthday. She’d really tidied up her student room and even baked a cake. Gifts and cards given and very well received before a walk from the uni along the canal to Gas Street. Lovely celebration lunch enjoyed by all and a library visit, Lindy-hop lesson at Brum Dance Fest and a University tour made for a great afternoon. Leaving was no easier but she’s back to us in a couple of weeks and clearly having the time of her life!
Grandma and Grandad seemed to appreciate her adopted city too.
