Strawberries and ice cream in the pool

It has been an incredibly hot day in the garden. We went to our son and daughter in law’s house for a BBQ at lunchtime and after lunch the children went swimming in the new pool that they have put up for the summer. It is freezing cold and so Tilly wore her wetsuit. Victoria and Izzy were happy with the cold and spent hours playing in the water. They even enjoyed their strawberries and ice cream whilst floating in rings. The  bright sun has made the blue pool very bright! more fun in extras. Mother hen is still enjoying her baby ducks. She didn't enjoy my company and I think thought if she looked at the wall I would go away!
