Climbing hydrangea.

Our climbing hydrangea which is on the side of the porch wall has come into full flower. 
I always marvel at the design of their lace-like heads. 
The weather has remained warm and sunny once more for the past few days. Hubby is out umpiring a cricket match. His first one of the season a couple of weeks ago was cancelled as the pitch was waterlogged after huge storms! 
   I had an unexpected treat when a friend called and took me to a local garden centre, and plant nursery. 
  She was choosing a small tree for a present to give to someone. Then we had coffee and the most enormous piece of chocolate and vanilla cake  each!
