Sharp shower

I met up with friends for coffee in the morning and narrowly missed getting  drenched on my afternoon walk.  The heavens opened and it poured down for an hour.  I hope there has been no damage to the tender courgette, melon and squash plants I put in earlier on. The rest of the day will be devoted to the cricket and the football but before that there is a squid to prepare.
