Lorquin's Admiral Butterfly

I saw the shadow of this little butterfly on the ground as I walked along the path.  It was flitting about the tops of the bushes, as I looked behind me. It landed on top of one of the bushes for just a second to show off the evening light coming through its wings like light through stained glass. I caught the photo in one shot and off it went.

Ah, winged creatures are my faves.
