Nosey

Shall I compare thee to a nose,
a nosey nose that resides
on the face of a nosey person,
(a nose is a nose is a nose?) for
surely you must have been told,
at least once in your relatively brief life,
that it’s rude to stare? No?
Though, to be fair,
there is a man out there,
with a camera, who appears
to be staring back at you.
Though, again to be fair,
you are sitting by a window
(haven’t you heard of curtains?)
that faces straight
onto the street,
so does that put you
in the public domain
and make you fair game
for any passing photographer?
I only ask this in passing
as I don’t know. Yes? No?
