Advice needed

Recently i discovered more humidity in my basement and i was a bit worried. The walls are sweating due to humidity. I checked the water pipes and no leakage  . So i asked advice to the husband of my colleague. He had been constructing houses in the past and has a lot of knowledge about. After checking my basement he told me that the air humidity , poor ventilation and heat of the last days, are the cause of the problem.
