Memories

This RCAF aircraft flew over our house about five times and I loved it! The Base Borden air show is tomorrow so he must have been checking something out. It reminded me of my years living on base in New Brunswick, with the runway at the end of our street. I loved the sound of the planes taking off and the way the windows would rattle when their afterburners kicked in. I still miss Chatham sometimes. So many of the air force brats I know who were stationed there still think of it as home., no matter how many bases they lived at. There was something very special about that place and it will always be home in my heart.
