hummer bait

And so it begins. Every summer I attempt to attract the neighborhood hummers to my back deck. I've tried feeders and fuchsias. Small amount of success with either...because my deck backs up to the front door of an assisted living complex where delivery trucks, ambulances, and visitors constantly come and go. The hummers prefer the quiet feeders provided for them in the middle of our neighborhood. I don't blame them.
