Stone Frog

We cycled up to Derry Lodge and then walked up Carn a’ Mhaim up a new path that took all the hassle out of the ascent. The extra is the view of Monadh Mor, The Devil’s Point and Cairn Toul from where we had lunch. There is a reasonable amount of snow left but nothing exceptional and with this warm weather I can see a second year running when the snow all disappears in Scotland. The blip is taken on the north west ridge and shows Braeriach and the Lairig Ghru. We followed the ridge to its low point and dropped down to the Lairig Ghru and then went up the Devil’s Point before going back to the bikes. It was another longish day and we stayed at Linn of Dee for a second night.
