Waiting

For the splash when the pebble lands in the sea.

Grandparent duty Day 3 started with the park followed by a walk along the seafront. The only other family in the play area at 8am were the same as us, granny with three children in tow. Alice took over in the afternoon while I met my friend. After dinner I took the kids home for another evening without doggy cuddles.

It's Emily, Storm and Grace's 5th birthday today. I'd wanted to blip the birthday duo but they weren't able to have their usual afternoon nap/cuddle as the sofas were full. Maybe tomorrow.
