Spinnaker Flying

We were invited to a dinner cruise on a friends Catamaran today and we anchored off a quiet beach further along the peninsular for a barbecue dinner. However before that we tried a new experience for me - spinnaker flying. A small spinnaker was used and tied to the halyard, and a harness was attached to the two sheets. The young ones were the first to go but I eventually was persuaded and it was fantastic, definitely one to try if you have the opportunity !
