Looking for Purple.

It seems that purple is the Painted Lady's favourite colour. I had no idea that these colourful butterflies were the most widespread butterflies in the world, we rarely see them here! Apparently, each year, they spread northwards from the desert fringes of North Africa, the Middle East, and central Asia, recolonising mainland Europe and reaching Britain and Ireland.
