Vintgar Gorge

We took quite a difficult road to reach the Vintgar Gorge where the river rushes through a narrow ravine. A wooden footpath has been built into the rock face so that it can be followed for about a mile.  
As we didn't go to the restaurant last night we indulged the evening instead.  We chose from the Slovenian menu and finished off with the local speciality "Bled cake" as recommended by ANewDay!
