Cranesbill Day

I was particularly amused to spot a patch of Bloody Cranesbill (Geranium sanguineum) growing in the verge beside Plummerden Lane while driving home from work this afternoon, as on my way to work this morning I had come across a similarly-sized patch of Meadow Cranesbill (Geranium pratense) in a roadside verge in East Chiltington (see today's 'Extra').
