Beach Crawl

Our condo unit, here in Lincoln City, overlooks this pile of rocks where we scrambled around looking at all the marvels of the sea we could spot: in the pools, on the rocks, and in the distance. That's my sis-in-law and brother in the picture.
The Extra was taken in 1962 on the first trip my parents and younger siblings took to the beach the spring after moving from North Dakota to Oregon. They are: Dad, Ken, Ron, Keith, Becky, Barb, and Karen. I was at home, busy being a teenager. We think the odds are pretty good it's the same pile of rocks.
