Golden Leaves

How cold was it last night? I woke to find a thick frost and a completely frozen birdbath. I decided to take advantage of this and went for an early morning walk around the Riverside Park. I walked through the woods where the golden leaves lay beneath my feet before finally resting where the swans were. People were showing kindness by bringing bread to feed them, which in turn caused a bit of a frenzy.

I returned home with a clear head to continue working on an important job application. It's now out of my hands I just hope I've done enough to secure an interview.
