Down the barrel

of a smoking gun. Quite literally.
Today was the big day for Bjornico. The hope was he´d get his first ever moose. They were successful. 1 moose was shot while he was out. A whopping 165kg, relatively small in moose terms but more than big enough for him! A second was taken after he left and it was a massive 250kg! So a good day for the hunters.
I couldn´t ever bring myself to shoot anything but I am certainly far from averse to the 100kg we get to put in our freezer! Lots of yummy food for the winter and beyond!
A really lovely weekend yet again. We really are very lucky in life!
