Foehn Sky over Le Vieux Rhone

Le Vieux Rhone is a natural harbour and nature reserve at the end of Lake Geneva and we often kayak into the lake from there. This morning was one of those stolen moments as it was supposed to be bucketing down but the Foehn wind (a warm wind called the snow eater in the winter) was still blowing hard and keeping the rain clouds up high. I doubt the reflected autumn colours will be there after the rain that's hammering down as I write, stops.

To see the duck in flight press L on your keyboard.

If you like single trees, this one is nearly in the lake.

Hope you all had a good weekend.
