After the Bike Races

The Grand Final of the OVO Energy Tour Series was held in Salisbury city centre, yesterday evening.

Having staked out the route in the afternoon, I became ill after I returned home and so I missed the whole darned event.

I took this for my Blip at 11pm as the organisers were in the process of the dismantling the barriers and course, PA systems etc. It was evidently a huge operation.

The fisheye emphasises the curve in the barriers in what was the main start/finish straight.

It is hardly subtle whom the main sponsors were, either!

I believe the highlights might get shown on ITV4, sometime. But I could have imagined I read that....
