Coming Out Of The Closet

Today's Abstract Thursday theme is 'straight out of the camera.'  I'm not a great abstract person but I thought back to something I did during my first year on blip.  Oh, and the title is not what you might think  :-)

For 25 minutes I laid flat on my back in the closet staring up at my shirts. Before pressing the shutter I started swishing the camera around. I took 187 photos - but only five were usable.  I put a shot of what I was actually looking at in the extras. Many thanks to Ingeborg for continuing to host AT.

Alma came over this afternoon to give me a tripod.  The thing weighs a ton but will be really sturdy set up in the house.  She was anxious to see my blips so I took her on the Tour de Laurie 2018 .  She has been my inspiration from day one. Again today she gave me a lot of tips .  I will miss her when she moves to Connecticut this fall but will cherish all of the things she has taught me: taking me from being a picture taker towards  becoming a photographer. Not quite there...yet.
