This Week in Wood
I joined in my son Jeff's project of redoing some corn-hole boards.
He sanded and painted the boards, and added a scoreboard on one end, bottle openers on both boards, and light strips that light up the holes.
Now, I'm responsible for adding the state of Michigan campfire emblem, and for putting a finish on the boards.
The game lies flat, with a 6-8 inch tilt at the top. (The tilt is achieved by 2x4's under the board.)You place the boards 27 feet apart, and then you fire bean bags at them. 3 points for going in the hole, and 1 point for staying on the board.
I'm down to one more light sanding, and one more coat of protective finish.
I hope the bags slide well when we're finished.
