On safari in the garden

This small (10mm) spider lives on our kitchen wall which is harled with Skye marble. My ignorance of spiders is profound but I think that it is a species of garden spider; it certainly lives in the garden! If anyone can identify it more properly I will be delighted.
Thanks to AJC I now know that it is a walnut orb weaver spider.
