River Avon, Bristol

I was walking along the west bank of the Avon, just as the tide was turning and starting to rise.

A grey afternoon,  looking across to Hotwell Road.

Earlier in the day, I came across this DIY sculpture, that people probably made the night before from the random stone blocks left near King Strret.
