Still Going Strong

After three frosts I can find only four of the six mantises in the greenhouse. I don’t know if the missing females have perished or if they are just hiding.

The rescued female has moved to another part of the grapevine, where more dead leaves offer better shelter. Today when I looked she had a small blue blowfly. She has had a very active life since I gave her up as spent five weeks ago.
