Crofthouse

Quite a nice day today so I went out a walk on the croft and this is a view of the back of the house.
#1 daughter came back from Orkney last night having got herself a flat to rent in Kirkwall. Funny story happened, the man who is renting it ask her about her name and she said her Grandfather came from Finstown so he asked her his name and she said James. He then asked if he had a brother called David who was the postman and the gravedigger and she said 'Yes!' How is that for a coincidence on your first day in Orkney.
