Through the darkness

One of the interesting things about looking at light, is that it is a contrast with darkness. Here, looking through a dark fern tree hedge, you can glimpse colour, like catching sight of Spring and Summer through the darkness of winter. It becomes the light at the end of the tunnel. 

And for me, there is a real light at the end of the tunnel. Tonight I'm going to a friends house because my friends and I are all booking flights to go to stay in her house in the Gambia for a week next year. This time next year, I'll be posting pictures from Gambia!
