Quicker to walk

It was very hard to get around today. There was an incident around the back of Marble Arch this morning which involved a lot of police closing roads.

When I got into Soho there were plumbers vans everywhere as basements were being relieved of flood water.

Much, much later, I arrived at Euston Station to discover empty departure boards due to an 'intruder on the line'. I can only assume the intruder was  an alien space craft, the disruption was so great.

Home to lie down in a darkened room.
