Lordofthehouse

I promised you a horse.
This is Lordofthehouse. He is very classy - well bred and with lots of ability. However, in recent races he has shown a distinct reluctance to actually run (and whatever anyone might tell you, if a horse doesn't want to run, you can't make it. They're quite big and strong...)
This was his first time over jumps, which meant he didn't have to go into starting stalls. However, he still seemed a bit unimpressed and ambled along a bit, until such time as he deigned to run a bit faster. At that point, he decided to win, so he did.
Some may put this down to a patient and persistent ride by his jockey. I reckon it was because my Mum backed him and it's her lucky meeting...
