The End of the Day
It's been a long and very frustrating day today, with a deafening silence on matters regarding the sale of our house. The estate agents have tried to communicate with both the person who didn't show up and the second viewers of yesterday, but with no success. Where have everybody's manners gone? Can't they just say Thanks, but no thanks? At least we'd know where we stood.
We took ourselves off for a spot of retail therapy in Dundee, but I can't say it was very therapeutic! Neither of us could find what we wanted, but at least we enjoyed a tasty lunch in the Pine Cone Café near Templeton Woods, so it wasn't a wasted journey.
I felt so down that I wasn't going to bother to blip today, but then TJ spotted the beautiful sunset from the window and I couldn't resist going outside to try to capture some of the colours. I was also soothed by the wonderful evening birdsong, so the day has ended on a high note after all:-)
