Flowers in the rain.

The kind of full day that we like. Planning and research consulting in the morning.  Then we went off to Gramat to get some building materials, even a drive to the shops here is a scenic journey through rolling landscapes and pretty villages.  Back to Saint Céré for more materials plus a stop at the garden centre (I think we should buy shares).  Then unloading at Betaille and planting up planters and hanging baskets, tying up tomato plants etc.  Then home and an email from the estate agent to say that we have a viewing on Saturday, Hooray, but the list of jobs for the rest of the week will have to be re-prioritised. Just as we got home the heavens opened, a real torrential downpour running in rivers down the road.  The small rosebuds survived, though they did look a bit bedraggled.
