Esk Valley
Presented with a lot of mist today plans to do other coastal areas like Sandsend or Runswick Bay were re-thought. So we headed for a valley near Goathland. As we descended the mist stayed on the hill and we enjoyed a 5k Walk or scoot in lovely woodland. We walked to Beck Hole where we found a lovely old pub called the Birch Hall Inn where we had corned beef and ham stotties and my son had a pint and I had a welcome cup of tea. We then did the return walk. A little cooler coming back but it had been deemed an accessible walk and so it proved. It’s the sort of stroll I simply cannot do any other way so it was great to do it. A few extras of some of the highlights.
