This shot seems to have no modern encroachments. It could have been taken when I was a child. Alas the same cannot be said of any photos taken of the lovely Gaumont cinemain he road behind the bandstand. It is now boarded up and shut. Definitely, in my view, the best cinema I have ever been in; and full of fond memories from my youth.
