Rhubarb Flower.

Our second day in Edinburgh and we are attacking Katkatkat's allotment.  She recently tore some ligaments in her ankle and things were getting a little behind on her allotment.  So it was a day of weeding digging etc with her first BBQ on the allotment for lunch.

A good number of allotment holders near her grow Rhubarb (as she does) these on an adjacent plot caught my eye so they are the blip.  Conventional wisdom says don't let Rhubarb flower as it will be very weakened and may never fully recover.  I wonder if they know something in Edinburgh that the rest of the world doesn't as many plots had flowering Rhubarb.
