First I'd like to remember all our vets who gave their life for God and country. I can't imagine what this world would be like without such brave men and women. RIP
This is an American kestrel. I just love it when they are around the farm fields. We have seen turkeys, deer, bunnies, groundhogs, squirrels and all kinds of birds. So I guess the wildlife is not as put out as we are with the pipeline work. Today the gas workers had the day off so all was quiet. We went up on the hill and counted 45 pieces of heavy equipment on our farm. Noise, dust and the like is what you see. I hope it is finished by November. On Wednesday they plan to blast through a heavy rock bed, that should be exciting to say the least!
