Blipper on the dock

NannaK and H came over from their island home to pick up a few things and we met for lunch at Auntie Pesto's.  Always great to see them, even for a short visit!  We must plan a longer visit soon.  It was pretty choppy in the harbour, so I was glad to get a message from K saying that it wasn't so choppy once they were out of the harbour and they're safely back home.
Great news from our daughter.  Kalyn and team were playing in the huge Emerald City Classic volleyball tournament at the University of Washington and play finished today (Memorial Day holiday in the US).  The team finished 2nd in the U18 Open division in what R wrote was an amazing final.  They lost 20-18 in the third game. Kalyn was named one of six all-tournament players!  An amazing achievement for her, and a great way for the team to end the club season after a disappointing result at the Canadian volleyball nationals.  So proud of all of the girls.
