Tadpoles

In previous years, it's been chickweed and pond weed that I've given to the tadpoles, but I learned this year that they like boiled lettuce. The boiling is to make it more digestible for them.  At first they didn't seem that interested, but now they gather round as soon as I add it to their container.  No moon tonight -  after a glorious day, it clouded over just as the sun went down.
