Gold.....

My flowers this evening in the last of the golden light.  They've opened up fully and have changed colour too.  Shame they haven't lasted very long but we've had some exceptionally hot weather this weekend and I've enjoyed looking at them as they change.   Such a strange weekend weatherwise.  Humid and thundery and yet it never came.  Took Little B for a 20 minute there and back walk to the shop to get a lottery ticket.  We walked through the shady alleyways but it was still far too hot for him.  By 4 pm we decided that we had better hurry up and get to the wine shop as they had an offer on Rose wine that finished today... mission accomplished ;)  We had a salad (again) for supper and took Little B through the woods and out the other side into the park around 8 pm, it was still balmy.... feeling that the rain must be coming pretty soon!
