The calm before the ...

A wonderfully sunny day for the first one of our annual bank holiday camp. We collected Poet Girl en route and family number two met us at the services at the bottom of the A1. Camp was pretty much set at the point that family 3 arrived. A short walk to the pub before back to camp fire music.
It wasn't until long after we'd watched the sun go down and gone to bed that the storm set in.There was something quite brilliant about lying in the tent in the early hours watching the lightning and waiting for the next thunderclap.
