Roman Catholic Rectory (Pfarrhaus) Attenhausen

Sunday Family Outing & a shake out for my kidney stones. 15°C sunny & very pleasant, lazy walk for Flash & the three horses.
Quite an impressive building for a village with 800 inhabitants. Have to research but I think it has been sold by the church and is in private hands.
Today in many parts of Bavaria there are gatherings of horse owners/riders to celebrate St. Leonhard whose feast day it is on Tuesday. Largest procession is probably the Leonhardiritt at Bad Toelz south of Munich. St Leonhard is the patron saint of all farm animals & in particular horses.
