Yippee!

No wind today and the haar actually lifted while PD and I were out in the morning.
PD decided to change the walk route a bit this morning and we went some of the route in 'reverse' ……. until he insisted on heading past the house where SWMBO used to work as a book keeper when the grounds were an organic market garden. Now the gardens are houses …. expensive houses.
After passing the houses (and the Hawthorn in the hedge) I found another outburst of Japanese Knotweed (the man from the council has been informed). It is strange the way it turns up in very random places.

It was breakfast with Mr & Mrs Mac and catching up with their holidays.
Mr Mac was trying to get his head around IR photography when he took my picture.

The day has got nicer as it has gone on and I am about to take PD out again in what is looking like the best it has been for ages.

Watching the News earlier I caught sight of HL at the official inauguration of the plaque commemorating the Victoria Cross being given to an Edinburgh man in  The Great War (not that there was much great about it).
