Crochet

We went to Amanda's today - KG was helping Mr T replace a gate post - as always it took longer than expected - due to the fact that the next door neighbour hadn't maintained his fence. 
Amanda and I had a lovely chat and after sorting out that she was happy with the quilt design she said I have a question for you.  She brought out her crochet books - which although lovely - didn't really make clear the basics.  My crochet is very rusty - I think the last thing I crocheted was Amanda's pram blanket in 1971!!  We had a few laughs and we created as Amanda called them prototypes.  Hopefully she will progress now.
It was a warm overcast day.
