Dropped youngest child at school for 6.45am: school trip to London - rather them than me on a Bank Holiday Monday!
Zipped down the motorway to drop middle child at the airport for a flight to Southampton, the "bargain" of breakfast beneath the golden arches offset by £10 to park at the airport for half an hour.
Arrived at a friend's house, two hours ahead of schedule, in Edinburgh to check over her old dog.
A long walk along Cramond in alternating freezing haar and warm sunshine.
Nothing deters the Scots though; children in shorts and teeshirts digging in the sand despite visibility being down to about 20 feet and brave folks like us sitting outside eating whilst taking jackets off, putting them on, taking them off...
All very East Coast of Scotland!
Juno just mooched in a very "settery" way.
And we attempted to put the world to rights whilst munching on cake!
