Not A Cornflower

But something equally pretty.

It was the first REALLY hot day of the year.  Where it was nearly 28°C in my office - 82°F - that's way too hot.  And outside in the sun, it was much hotter.

They started to demolish the building next to ours today.  And you could feel every vibration.  It was slightly disconcerting.  Sometimes there was a bang outside and it felt like our building jumped too.  I really don't fancy being in our termperamental lifts when an extra heavy jolt from the demolition knocks out our lift and I have to spend any time waiting for Help...

Other than that it was Monday and that's usually enough to be getting on with.

The 15 minute walk home after getting off the bus is brutal in this heat though.
