More Knitting

I finished the hat last week and I have been waiting for a wet day to blip it along with the socks. Today it has been torrential rain all morning and looks as though it will continue for the rest of the day. The pond in now huge again and the water is creeping up towards the orchard. Fortunately the house is quite a lot higher and as far as we know it has never been flooded.

I have enough wool left to make some gloves and so as it is such an awful day I think I will make a start on them; I may make mittens rather than gloves as I hate doing fingers.

I shall not be knitting whilst the Formula One is on I hasten to add.
