Canoeing

After spending the early part of the day celebrating a friend's birthday, we decided to load up the canoe and go to a bay not far from where we live. The weather was ideal, sunny and warm, but not too hot. The river levels are still very high, allowing access on the water to areas usually inaccessible by boats. It's quite fun, gliding in the midst of trees. There are a lot of birds, including  Bald Eagles. The main blip is on our return to the marina, in the extra John is paddling.
