Promenade

Great views of the pier and big wheel from the promenade in the sunshine.  It's quite funny - I speak to a lot of locals at work and they don't find  the current weather overly warm - they still walk around in their jeans, denim jackets, scarves etc, whilst I am melting away.  I wonder if my body will acclimatise or if I will always be a sweaty Scottish lump here in the Netherlands.  I know the weather won't be this hot all the time and the locals say it's unusual to have this much sunshine in May so I suppose it's good to have a taste of summer before that kicks in. Saying that, it's great to have all this sunshine and all the colour appearing in the gardens.
