Homeward bound

We were back on the road after our few days in Nottingham. We had time for a brief stop in at the hospital to see my mum again before we headed for the motorway. She was in really good form, definetely looking better than the last two days. We were keen to get on th eroad reasonably early though as there were blizzards forecast and Roz didn't fancy the prospect of driving through a blizzard in the dark.

It was a fairly uneventful journey apart from an unexpected detour through Barnsley because of a section of the M1 being closed due to a bus catching fire. Not heard much on the news but hopefully no-one was hurt.

We finally made it up the road before nine so plenty of time to get ready for work tomorrow.
